  • I’ve added a new option to the “Manage” page. Click the “Share” button on the right panel to view the URL, HTML code and BBCode of the selected avatar. As a consequence, avatars can be hotlinked from now on.
  • The firefox extension is now  compatible with FF 3.5

It is a counter, which counts the days you visit alpoy. It basically measures loyalty. Maybe, some time later, the most frequent visitors will get some bonuses. I don’t know yet.

I will write about development in progress, interesting facts and additional information about Alpoy. First of all, some background information about the site and me:

I am a 21 years old undergraduate from Budapest, Hungary. My first site was http://www.avatarmaker.hu which is also an avatar creator site, but it is in hungarian. One of the visitors suggested that I should make an english version as well, so I started the development of alpoy.com in March, 2009. It was opened to public in the last days of April, though it is still under development.
